ABOUT ME

I give financial advice, grow wealth, and protect nest eggs from inflation

My name is John Brick, and as some of you know, I work in Finance.

But that is not all; I have a strong preference for learning, growing, and creating the best life possible for my friends, family, clients, and myself.

Creating a better life isn’t just financial, so I will share some articles on Estate Planning, Health, and other topics, all with a focus on learning something! (and staying ahead of the curve).

I think everything in life compounds work, health, happiness, success, and relationships. Where others see independent links, I see health, fitness, money, and happiness highly correlated with the aforementioned categories.

But don’t take my word for it; two of the richest men in America are Warren Buffett and Jeff Bezos, who discuss their ‘Snowball’ and the ‘flywheel effect’.

Warren Buffett’s Autobiography is called Snowball due to his life mirroring a snowball; it gains speed and picks up more snow as it rolls down a hill (Compounding on itself).

Jeff Bezos created Amazon’s flywheel network effect concept on the back of a napkin. He thought more sales helped scale fixed costs lower, which reduced per-unit costs, creating more value and incentive for customers to buy each item, leading back to creating more sales (again compounding on itself).

They have concepts of Compounding woven in their lives, something I try to mimic by daily habits working to improve other segments of my life.
